I highly recommend Swift Construction for any type of work you may need. They build entire rooms and decks, repair leaky windows and doors and anything in between. This company is very reliable; they show up on time and clean up after themselves. Work is completed professionally and in a timely manner.

When broken pipes caused major damage to our home in York, Swift Construction responded immediately. Most of the 10-room house and attached garage needed some form of refurbishing. Floors needed refinishing; walls needed to be torn down and restored. Carpeting had to be removed and new flooring installed. Ceilings were replaced. They even installed two new garage doors to replace those destroyed by the flood. Of course, everything needed to be painted as well.
It was great doing business with Swift Construction because they are knowledgeable in all the different areas of construction; they managed the various repairs and hired the necessary professionals. Don even consulted and negotiated with our insurance agent.
Don and his crew were so professional and so reliable; we had them complete other repairs that we had been postponing.

After living in our home in Arlington for over 30 years my husband and I decided to take
the leap, make the investment and redo our 30 year old kitchen.
Hence, the process began with the most importantpart, of course, selecting a contractor
that would fulfill all of our requirements:
a. Be helpful
b. Be trustworthy
c. Be from Arlington
d. Be reasonable in price
e. Be on time
f. Be someone we had confidence in
g. Be skilled in his field
We met with four local contractors of which Don Swift was one of them.
We felt an immediate connecting with Don and a strong feeling that he had the integrity
and work ethic we were looking for.
Don was so helpful from beginning to end. He sat with us to get a feel of what we were
looking for, wanted to know what were some of the most important design elements we
wanted in the kitchen and if we had any reservations about the project. He suggested
some changes in design, sent us to great cabinet, granite and tile companies who were
also very helpful and patient and my only reservation was that the kitchen would be done
in "six weeks" and in "twelve" I would still have no kitchen.
Don gave us a week by week time line of what would be done when and when the job
would be completed. If he said he would be there at 8:00am, he would be there at 8:00
Without a hitch our kitchen was done, on time, on budget and without a doubt more
beautiful than I expected. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is quite evident and
three years later I still walk in the kitchen and SMILE.
